At Boshack Outback, we have taken sustainable living to the next level. Come view our self-developed organic vegetable garden that is solar controlled by solar clocks. The garden gets the best from water drippers in summer and winter. The idea is to give little and often during the day time. Remember to view our hydroponics as we have taken a step further by adding worms, fish and yabbies to the cycle. Come and see what it’s all about.
Other forms of sustainable living at Boshack Outback:
- look at the yabbies in our ponds and experience pulling the nets and holding them up close
- Lake Serene is being continually stocked with fish for fishing – only catch and return please! If the population grows, we might be able to have some on the menu.
- paperbark from our paperbark forest is used to cook your sausages and meat -just like how aboriginal people did thousands of years ago
