Getting to Boshack

Boshack Outback is 100 km from Perth as the crow flies and it takes about 90 minutes to get here by means of a curving scenic road.

Please call or text from Toodyay to confirm arrival. There is no digital mobile range past Toodyay.

We recommend strongly that you do NOT drive after dark, kangaroos can be dangerous.

Directions from Perth to Boshack Outback (by car)

Take Great Eastern Hwy/Roe Hwy
Turn right at Toodyay Road, travelling through Gidgiegannup and Toodyay
Continue onto Bindi Bindi Road (in direction of Boglart). You will cross a bridge (about 300m from Toodyay Visitor Centre) and continue for 26.5 km
Turn right onto Wattening Springs Road (signposted and a Boshack tyre Sign) and continue on an unpaved road for 6.5 km at approx 30km/h
Turn right at the Boshack tyre sign and continue for 1.3 km
Turn left at a Boshack tyre sign and continue for 200 m
Select the sign to Tour Start (for tour) or Lake Cabins (accommodation)
The start of tour is about 400 metres and the Lake Cabins are approximately 2 km

Directions from Perth International Airport to Boshack Outback (by car)

Exit airport area using Horrie Miller Drive
At the end of Horrie Miller Drive, turn left onto Tonkin Hwy
Turn left at Roe Hwy
Turn right at Toodyay Road, travelling through Gidgiegannup and Toodyay

Directions from Perth Airport to Boshack Outback (by taxi and train)

Take a taxi from airport to Midland train station (approximately $25). Take an Avonlink train to Toodyay; journey will be about 1 hour. Check TransWA website for prices and timetable. Remember to give Chrissy a call at +61 4 0800 5628 (International) or 0408 005 628 (Australia) when on train to confirm arrival. Also, do ask the conductor to assist on leaving train in Toodyay as it might be easy to miss.

Directions from Perth City to Boshack Outback (by train)

Take an Avonlink train from East Perth train station to Toodyay; journey is about 1.5 hours. Check TransWA website for prices and timetable. Remember to give Chrissy a call at +61 4 0800 5628 (International) or 0408 005 628 (Australia) when on train to confirm arrival. Also, do ask the conductor to assist on leaving train in Toodyay as it might be easy to miss.
