Only 90 minutes from Perth, farmstay accommodation with Boshack let you learn what it’s like to be on a real working farm. Our farmstays enable you to live like how the aboriginal people of the Australian outback lived, or stay with a friendly family on a working wheat and/or sheep farm near Perth, Western Australia.
We have 2 accommodation types – Outback Adventure Farmstay and Bed and Breakfast Farmstay.
Outback Adventure Farmstay

Our lakeside humpies are a unique accommodation and farmstay that take you back through time to experience how the squatters lived in the bush. This is truly a real Australian outback experience. With spectacular Lake Serene views and surrounded by over 70 acres of bushland, this is a great way to rest and relax amongst nature. You will see a moonlit silhouette across the lake as you sit around the seasonal campfire under a sky full of stars. Go to sleep with the silence of the bush and wake up to the singing birds and sunrise over the lake.
Each humpy sleeps 1 queen and 2 singles. If you prefer to have everything taken care of, bedding and towels can be provided at $10 per person for duration of stay. Please let us know in the bookings form.
Bush camp facilities: Shared toilets and showers, and cooking facilities.
Check in is at 4pm, checkout is at 10am.
A minimum of 2 nights for weekends.
Not available on Mondays.

Child prices are for children aged 3 to 11. These prices are only valid when booked with Outback Adventure Farmstay.
Meal options:
We have meal options available from $10 to $45 per person – breakfast, Boshack Outback burgers, wood fired pizzas, make-your-own gourmet bush sandwhiches, full Aussie BBQ with salad and veggies, yabbies on the BBQ, 2 to 3 course dinners, and grill-your-own BBQ Packs with salad. All meals are served with refreshing juice and water. Please order at time of booking. Alternatively, you can bring your own food and drinks in a cooler with ice.
Canoe hire:
Comes free with your Wild Eco Outback Adventure Tour. Otherwise, they can be hired at $10 each for the duration of your stay.

Our Bed and Breakfast Farmstay accommodation lets you experience the true Australian outback through our Outback Adventure Tour. Learn what it’s like to be on a real working farm and come home to country cooked meals. Live with a friendly family on a working wheat and/or sheep farm near Boshack Outback. All tours, meals and activities are included – just bring a toothbrush!
